Since November 2018 Francesco Cascio Architects have been working on the restoration of a large old ‘masia’ style villa near Sitges in collaboration with Ian McKim of Studio Barcelona – ianmckim.com

Ian is a British registered architect who has been working in Spain for several years specialising in architectural and marketing services for the real estate sector. The joint venture with Studio Barcelona was formed to provide full architectural services to Spanish and foreign clients who wish to either relocate or invest in the urbanizations around the coastal area of Sitges and the Parc Natural del Garraf.

Villa Balzar has six bedrooms, four bathrooms, 2 living rooms, a dining room and two kitchens arranged over 400sqm on three floors.

The restoration has entailed extensive internal alterations, full refurbishments and upgrade of all services to provide contemporary lifestyle in traditional settings.

With some other projects still at planning stage, Villa Balzar is the first one approaching completion…more to come soon!
